With over 15 years of experience as an executive director and service on boards for three different agencies, I’ve witnessed firsthand the potential disconnect between boards and the organizations they govern. While many board trainings offer broad guidance, board members often need clear, actionable "to-do" lists. How can volunteers effectively govern if they don’t know exactly what’s expected of them? My DEI training offers a practical solution to help nonprofits diversify their boards and staff, ensuring that they are inclusive, and representative of the populations being served.

In addition, I have a proven track record in securing and managing grant funding. As the sole grant writer for a small nonprofit, I successfully secured $5.9 million in grants, managed over $10 million in grants per year for a large nonprofit, and reviewed and scored over $31 million in national grant applications as a federal grant reviewer for four federal agencies. My webinars draw on more than 20 years of experience in writing, managing, and evaluating local, state, and federal grants, providing invaluable insights for nonprofits seeking sustainable funding.
